I tried to find something positive in this one but it just angered me too much. Thanks for you comment.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02764689207655947517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735524103208288255.post-2669971819047329692015-10-16T16:49:15.962-04:002015-10-16T16:49:15.962-04:00Love and appreciate honesty... and that you have s...Love and appreciate honesty... and that you have saved me time and money. :-) Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531440890448902146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735524103208288255.post-79708964503166862582015-09-22T06:35:00.505-04:002015-09-22T06:35:00.505-04:00(sigh) I much prefer honest reviews to author'...(sigh) I much prefer honest reviews to author's stacking reviews in their favour - and in most cases it's blatantly obvious when they do itCee Arr @ Dora Readshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04074909561530525221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735524103208288255.post-74234520656337646802015-09-21T08:47:27.925-04:002015-09-21T08:47:27.925-04:00Thanks for the comment. If only the author had not made it her agenda and a vehicle for, what were very clearly, her views. I should give her writing a nod since she managed to evoke emotion, at least in my case. I did want to check other reviews but as I mentioned in my review ... they were all 5 star ... she must have some loyal family and friends.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02764689207655947517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735524103208288255.post-20886898292353072872015-09-20T11:10:09.758-04:002015-09-20T11:10:09.758-04:00Wow. I personally don't think that the sort of soapbox preaching you're describing is appropriate for a horror novel - particularly not one about a child. I can't judge, because I haven't read it (and have no desire to,) but I think there's a tasteful way and a non-tasteful way of dealing with even the most sensitive of issues. Again (and I can't stress this enough) I can't judge this book because I haven't read it, but I get the impression, from your review, that it falls short of 'tasteful.'Cee Arr @ Dora Readshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04074909561530525221noreply@blogger.com
